Perfect Shot

Perfect Shot is the first step in a bigger journey: a series of projects exploring how to build fast, punchy FPS games in the style of the early 2000s. Think Red Faction, Perfect Dark, Jedi Knight 2, Star Trek Voyage Elite Force, Alien vs Predator 2.

This project is a focused prototype: a firing range built to hone the basics of movement and gunfeel. You’ll find:

• A responsive retro-inspired FPS control style

• A set of firing range challenges to test accuracy, speed, and control.

• A sci fi environment where the challenges take place

It’s not a full game - it’s a slice. The goal is to learn, experiment, and share the process openly. If you’re curious about old-school FPS design, enjoy seeing how games get built piece by piece, or just like putting holes in targets, Perfect Shot is for you.
